I currently teach into the creative writing and literary studies programs at Macquarie University in Sydney. In 2016 I’m convening Writing Ecologies (an undergraduate unit in environmental nonfiction writing), Digital Voices and Publishing Tools (postgraduate) and an Introduction to Writing Creative Nonfiction (postgraduate). Additionally I’m teaching into the first year creative writing course and MQ’s Masters of Research program—about which, more can be read here. Students enquiring about Postgraduate supervision are encouraged to get in touch with the English Department administrator.

Prior to joining MQ I taught at NYU Sydney, where I convened EcoCriticism as an adjunct for three years. My PhD and undergraduate degrees (LLB, BA [Hons.]) were undertaken in the sandy, grassy (now populated by some very strange sculptures) grounds of the University of Western Australia.
